There are a few basic steps in applying to Olney Friends School. A visit to campus is very important, and is required except for international students. This visit will include a tour of the campus and will provide us the opportunity to get to know one another. Completion of an application form, which is available here or by mail, is another important first step. When your application file is complete, the admissions committee will review it and inform you of its decision.

You may visit the school before completing the application, but when possible we prefer to have at least part of the application in our admissions office before a visit.

Schedule an admissions campus visit by calling 800-303-4291. Campus visits are conducted on most weekdays. Allow a half-day, either morning or afternoon, for the visit. Included will be a tour, brief observations of classes, a student interview, in-house math testing and writing sample, and parent visits with staff. Lunch is optional. Families are encouraged to visit early in the school year for enrollment the next fall.

Applications are due February 1 for the first round of admissions decisions and financial aid awards, which are made by February 15. Acceptance and financial aid decisions after that date are made as openings and funds allow.

Olney Friends School welcomes students of any race, color, religion, gender, nationality or ethnic origin in its long-held belief that all people are equals and that diversity is an enriching aspect of the educational experience.

International Students:
Olney strives to enroll a globally diverse student body. Olney Friends School is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant international students. Due date for our first admissions cycle is Feb 1; we accept students for both our Fall and Spring semesters. An evaluation of English Language Proficiency is a required part of the admissions process. Submissions of TOEFL or SLEP scores are recommended as the best way to fulfill this requirement. Our TOEFL recipient code is 36015. For further information please contact our admissions office at admissions@olneyfriends.org.
