Putting the "Sports" in "Sportsmanship"

Olney’s athletic programs are built upon the idea of cooperation rather than competition. Each student is encouraged to undertake personal challenges and reap the rewards that come with individual and collective growth rather than simply “playing to win”. As such, most offerings function on an intramural model.

Soccer, our most popular sport, carries a full schedule, playing other schools and clubs in the Ohio Valley area. Other team sports, including basketball, volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee are scrimmage based while individual offerings like running, yoga, wrestling and strength & conditioning embrace the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
